The client builds large-scale, high-performance platforms and APIs, with a strong focus on cloud-native architectures, scalability, and data-driven solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining modern data platforms while working closely with engineering and product teams on real-world, customer-facing systems. Your Profile Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer Solid expertise in Snowflake as a cloud data platform Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL Hands-on experience with AWS RDS / Aurora Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL Experience with Tableau from a data engineering perspective (supporting analytics and reporting layers) Ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams Your Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and data platforms Support and optimize modern booking platforms and APIs from a data engineering standpoint Develop and maintain cloud-based data architectures on AWS Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and scalability across systems Collaborate closely with software engineers, analytics teams, and product stakeholders Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives Technology Environment You will work with a modern and diverse technology stack, including: Python, SQL, Java, NodeJS, Go Snowflake Kafka Docker, Kubernetes AWS GitLab Apigee What You Can Expect Senior-level ownership and technical impact Complex, real-world projects using modern cloud and data technologies A collaborative, international working environment Opportunities to grow, innovate, and influence technical direction Originally posted on Himalayas
