Responsibilities

• ▹Maintain the components and functionalities of SAP applications to meet customer demand
• ▹Customize SAP applications, fix issues and restore original functionality
• ▹Provide technical and functional support for specific SAP modules
• ▹Architecture, solution and implementation consulting
• ▹Advise customers on mapping cloud-based processes and creating target-state concepts
• ▹Requirements and feasibility analyses, quotation calculation and presentation to customers
• ▹Development, conception and design of modern architectural solutions
• ▹Act as direct point of contact for client troubleshooting: investigate and solve software problems, map business requirements, develop necessary modifications
• ▹Define systems strategy, develop requirements, design and prototype, test, train and set up support procedures under multiple deadlines
• ▹Write ABAP query reports and dialog programs when needed
• ▹Maintain a clear understanding of master data management and its business impact
• ▹Give continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to meet expectations
• ▹Analyze customer demand for SAP customization and propose and realize a suitable solution
• ▹Document system changes and the design of new components
• ▹Test newly added functionality to avoid errors on the productive system
• ▹Present proposed solutions to the customer
• ▹Train and mentor junior colleagues
• ▹Act as senior support for new business and transitions between SAP modules

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an ABAP developer with a focus on SAP ERP
• ▹Completed studies in business administration or business informatics, or comparable training
• ▹Integrative system understanding and specific knowledge of developing relevant processes in SAP ERP and S/4HANA
• ▹Experience in SAP application management as a developer, or in S/4HANA implementation projects (brownfield/greenfield)
• ▹English B2
• ▹German C1 (or communicative level and willingness to learn)
• ▹Willingness to travel and stay abroad for longer periods (three two-week sessions monthly within half a year)
• ▹Willingness to familiarize yourself intensively with German legal requirements and framework conditions

Nice to have

• ▹Good knowledge of ITIL processes in the context of Application Management Services (ideally with ServiceNow)
• ▹Initial experience with agile methods (SCRUM, KANBAN, Design Thinking) and DevOps tools such as Jira and Confluence
• ▹Experience with SAP BI/BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Lumira, SAP Business Technology Platform
• ▹First touchpoints in the public sector and/or healthcare industry
• ▹Experience in interface development and/or Fiori/UI5
