Security Analyst 2nd Level

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze and escalate security incidents, including root cause analyses, escalation processes and active threat hunting
• ▹Act as the customers' central contact in workshops and regular meetings on incident handling and related topics
• ▹Advise customers by email, chat and call
• ▹Bring in new security trends and technologies together with the engineering team
• ▹Ensure quality together with the 1st level team
• ▹Take turns with the team on on-call duty, including nights and weekends

Requirements

• ▹Prior work in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• ▹Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft solutions such as Defender, Sentinel and Entra ID
• ▹Familiarity with typical network security challenges, recognizing patterns and finding pragmatic solutions
• ▹Ability to explain complex topics clearly to colleagues, customers and non-technical decision makers
• ▹Very good German and English, written and spoken
• ▹Residence in Germany

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with CrowdStrike
• ▹Certifications such as AZ-500, SC-200 or SC-300, as well as CompTIA CySa+, SANS FOR/SEC or similar
