Software Engineer - Platform Team - C++ on Linux

Responsibilities

• ▹Deliver new cutting-edge product features, writing and owning design/implementation of the code
• ▹Suggest and decide what features to build
• ▹Drive design and architecture
• ▹Push, test and document features
• ▹Work alongside customers in the field if needed

Requirements

• ▹Strong industry experience of 3+ years
• ▹Extensive background in algorithms and software architecture
• ▹Fluency in C/C++ programming
• ▹Hands-on experience with designs and implementations in a strong product-engineering environment
• ▹Strong software debugging skills, especially in embedded systems
• ▹Experience with software development for forwarding ASICs, FPGAs, network processors
• ▹Experience with hardware abstraction layer
• ▹Datapath forwarding knowledge (ACLs, QoS, Unicast, Multicast, EVPN MPLS, VXLAN, OAM)
• ▹Experience across the complete software development life cycle
• ▹Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals
• ▹5+ years fluency in C/C++/Python programming

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in network systems software development
