KPI Architect

Software Architect • Senior • Remote • Vollzeit • Europäische Union EU/EMEA

Exelab's KPI Architect ensures rigor and depth in performance analysis across projects: defining measurement frameworks, supporting the team on complex analytical challenges and verifying the impact of deployed solutions. The role reports to the General Manager and combines advanced analytical skills with deep business understanding.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Measurement framework definition: work with Value Builders and Project Managers in discovery phases to define how each project's success will be measured
  • ▹Translate vague business objectives into concrete, measurable, actionable KPIs; establish baselines, targets and evaluation criteria
  • ▹Create reusable templates and methodologies that accelerate this phase on future projects
  • ▹Client alignment on objectives: facilitate structured conversations to make success criteria explicit, quantify them and turn them into shared agreements
  • ▹Complex analytical challenge support: multi-touch attribution analysis, predictive modeling, advanced segmentation, interpretation of particularly complex datasets
  • ▹Solution impact verification after deployment: build analyses personally, distinguish correlation from causality, identify confounding variables, enable correct attribution of results; propose course corrections when numbers do not add up
  • ▹Purpose-driven analysis: every analysis has a clear purpose and consequent action, avoiding analysis paralysis
  • ▹Build and maintain Exelab's analytical standards: document methodologies, create templates and best practices, train Value Builders
  • ▹Portfolio view: identify patterns across projects, recurring problems, reusable solutions and reference benchmarks

Requirements

  • ▹Mastery of data analysis tools and methodologies: SQL, Python/R for statistical analysis, BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • ▹Comfort with statistical analysis: significance testing, regression analysis, cohort analysis, A/B testing methodology
  • ▹Ability to work with large datasets and heterogeneous sources
  • ▹Experience building dashboards and monitoring systems
  • ▹Deep understanding of how businesses work and which metrics truly matter
  • ▹Experience with KPIs typical of customer-facing contexts (conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, churn, NPS)
  • ▹Ability to link operational metrics to financial impact
  • ▹Scientific approach: formulate hypotheses, test them, evaluate evidence with constructive skepticism
  • ▹Exceptional ability to communicate complex insights clearly and actionably, adapted to the audience, plus stakeholder management skills
  • ▹Background in environments with multiple projects/clients in parallel (consulting, agencies or strongly data-oriented companies)
  • ▹Autonomy and proactivity: ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time across projects by impact
  • ▹Willingness to learn and use AI tools to enhance analytical work
  • ▹Native Italian and at least B2-level English

Nice to have
