MES Application Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop application deliverables for new MES implementations and changes to existing MES applications (about 40% of the time)
• ▹Provide technical support to factories and internal business partners for assigned MES applications: troubleshoot, analyze and remediate issues (about 40%)
• ▹Maintain user reference materials by writing, revising or managing documentation (about 5%)
• ▹Contribute to the strategy of MES applications considering new technology (about 5%)
• ▹Promote process improvement and deliver projects and enhancements (about 10%)
• ▹Collaborate with factory personnel and internal business partners

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of experience in a similar role (required)
• ▹Experience in highly collaborative, large cross-functional projects and in business requirements gathering
• ▹Experience troubleshooting and solving problems in legacy applications
• ▹Comprehensive understanding of modern software development principles
• ▹Demonstrated experience with Java, C++, C#, .NET Framework, HTML, JSP/CSS, Tomcat, IIS, JavaScript, Swing, ORM frameworks (e.g. Hibernate, Entity Framework), DB/2, SQL Server, Angular 5, Power Apps and Azure DevOps
• ▹Factory floor understanding
• ▹Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team environment, preferably SAFe

Nice to have

• ▹Bachelor's degree in an associated field
• ▹Willingness to learn other areas of technical solution development (testing, development, database, deployment, documentation, project management)
