Technical Program Manager - Compute Systems Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Sustain, scale and continuously improve operational and software development processes within Compute Systems Engineering and across teams, partners, customers and vendors
• ▹Coordinate work across hardware and software engineering, infrastructure, cloud operations, customer support and external technology partners
• ▹Manage complex dependencies, identify and address risks, improve execution
• ▹Establish processes that keep working as infrastructure scale and complexity grow
• ▹Contribute directly to program execution, technical coordination, documentation, process development and issue investigation when needed

Requirements

• ▹Approximately five to ten years of relevant experience
• ▹Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex technical programs across multiple teams, identify dependencies and risks, establish clear ownership and drive measurable outcomes
• ▹Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication with engineering teams, business partners, customers and vendors
• ▹Relevant technical knowledge and curiosity about how systems work
• ▹Strong attention to detail in long-running infrastructure programs
• ▹Open-minded, creative problem-solving and willingness to simplify or redesign existing processes
• ▹Hands-on mindset and willingness to contribute directly
• ▹Comfort operating across organizational boundaries with incomplete information

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in cloud computing, high-performance computing, accelerated computing or large-scale infrastructure
• ▹Experience with device drivers, the Linux kernel, virtualization technologies or firmware development and lifecycle management
