Senior Solutions Engineer - Qatar & S.Africa Fly-in

Responsibilities

• ▹Creating impactful, successful relationships with customer accounts across the region, providing technical and business value
• ▹Acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, defining long-term Data & AI strategies
• ▹Leading strategic engagements, shaping Data & AI transformation roadmaps, driving account growth
• ▹Scaling best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications
• ▹Leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to build the regional Databricks community

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in technical customer interactions, preferably with pre-sales and complex sales lifecycle experience
• ▹Experience in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs
• ▹Proficiency in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Data Science use cases, with experience on cloud platforms (Databricks, AWS, Microsoft, GCP)
• ▹Proficiency with Artificial Intelligence, AI Agents, and Big Data Analytics technologies
• ▹Coding expertise in at least one core programming language (Python, Java, Scala)
