Responsibilities

• ▹Further develop the digital products of HAAS Mediengruppe, especially the news portals (e.g. mannheimer-morgen.de)
• ▹Program efficiently with the help of AI
• ▹Exchange with product management on technical concepts and solutions
• ▹Coordinate with external technical service providers
• ▹Look after web projects with full ownership

Requirements

• ▹Professional experience in web development
• ▹Very good knowledge of HTML5, SCSS and modern JavaScript (ES6 onwards) as well as object-oriented PHP and relational database systems (e.g. MySQL)
• ▹Several years of experience with AWS and managing cloud infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• ▹Familiarity with common web dev tools (Composer, NPM/yarn, Webpack etc.) and SCM platforms such as GitHub and Bitbucket
• ▹Experience with Docker
• ▹Experience with Linux shells and configuring hosting environments (LAMP)
• ▹Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365
• ▹Fluent German and good English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with templating engines (TAL, Twig, Handlebars) and reactive libraries (e.g. Vue.js, React)
• ▹Knowledge of redFACT and Piano
