Senior Data Engineer at Brillux in Münster: developing the company data platform and integration solutions and building data pipelines from SAP, Salesforce and other source systems.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Develop and operate scalable data pipelines and integration solutions
  • ▹Integrate structured and unstructured data from on-premises and cloud systems
  • ▹Connect SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, databases, APIs and other source systems
  • ▹Implement modern data processing methods such as batch, streaming and change data capture
  • ▹Transform, harmonize and technically validate data and develop data models
  • ▹Provide quality-assured data for analytics, business intelligence, ML and AI applications
  • ▹Build reusable integration components and automate deployment, test and operations processes
  • ▹Implement monitoring, data observability, data governance, security and data quality
  • ▹Document and optimize data flows, interfaces and data processing processes
  • ▹Technically support the team in adopting modern data engineering technologies, platform standards and methods

Requirements

  • ▹Several years of experience in data engineering, data integration or comparable development work
  • ▹Very good knowledge of SQL, Python, data modeling and database technologies
  • ▹Experience with ETL/ELT architectures, orchestration and modern data processing concepts
  • ▹Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms and distributed data processing technologies, for example Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or Apache Spark
  • ▹Knowledge of integrating data via REST APIs, messaging, streaming and change data capture
  • ▹Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated tests and modern software engineering practices
  • ▹Experience in monitoring, error analysis and running data solutions in production
  • ▹Understanding of complex business processes and heterogeneous system landscapes
  • ▹German at level B2 or higher is mandatory
