IT Systems Administrator, Infrastructure and Network

Responsibilities

• ▹Further develop the IT infrastructure while ensuring compliance with security policies
• ▹Install, configure, administer and reliably operate server, backup, firewall and security systems
• ▹Continuously monitor and optimise the network and firewall environment
• ▹Analyse the causes of faults in a pragmatic, structured way, fix them permanently and support the business departments with technical questions
• ▹Carry out IT projects independently and in a team (e.g. server and Microsoft 365 tenant migrations), automate operations and assess hardware and software needs

Requirements

• ▹Training as an IT specialist for systems integration or a comparable qualification through a degree or professional experience
• ▹Several years of experience installing, administering and developing complex IT systems in a corporate environment
• ▹Solid knowledge of client and server operating systems and of complex firewall and network environments
• ▹Familiarity with PowerShell scripts, firewall and network technology, routing, VLAN, virtualisation, SAN systems, Microsoft Server, Microsoft 365 and Azure
• ▹Business-fluent German (at least C1) and good English

Nice to have

• ▹Skills in VoIP, SQL databases and IT security
