Responsibilities

• ▹Own and develop the company-wide data area as the central contact for data topics
• ▹Analyse business requirements and build meaningful dashboards, reports and analytics solutions
• ▹Design and maintain logical and physical data models
• ▹Ensure reliable data integration between internal and external systems
• ▹Establish and further develop data quality and governance standards
• ▹Identify data-driven optimisation and automation potential
• ▹Work closely with business departments on innovative data solutions
• ▹Define technical requirements and coordinate with the DevOps team to implement scalable, secure data platforms
• ▹Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and KPI visualisations with Power BI and Grafana
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation on data models, data sources and integrations

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, business analytics or a comparable field
• ▹At least 7 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data solutions or comparable roles
• ▹Ideally experience in several of the following: Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, SQL (advanced queries and optimisation), Microsoft Power BI and/or Microsoft Azure Data Platform, ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, data modelling (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modelling), API integrations (e.g. REST), data formats and structures (e.g. JSON)
• ▹Strong analytical mindset and the ability to present complex relationships clearly
• ▹Confident handling of large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• ▹High standards for data quality, governance and continuous improvement
• ▹Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and solid understanding of KPI and management reporting
• ▹Experience working with business departments and stakeholders
• ▹Very good German and English, spoken and written
• ▹Confident communication with technical and non-technical contacts

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in the IT, telecommunications or managed services industry
• ▹Experience moderating workshops and requirements analyses
• ▹Motivation to grow into a technical leadership role in the data field
