Apprenticeship as IT Specialist in Systems Integration

Responsibilities

• ▹Gain insight into IT systems, networks and modern IT infrastructure
• ▹Plan, install, configure and support IT systems, clients, mobile devices and operating systems
• ▹Learn how networks and network services work, such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, WLAN or firewalls
• ▹Support users with technical questions and learn how IT support and service work day to day
• ▹Analyse faults and sources of error and help find suitable solutions
• ▹Gain insight into IT security, data protection and backup concepts
• ▹Work with virtualisation, cloud solutions and modern IT platforms
• ▹Monitor IT systems and document work steps using digital tools and administration tools
• ▹Learn the basics of automation and scripting to support recurring IT tasks
• ▹Depending on the assignment, use English in daily work, for example in technical documentation, tools, error messages or communication
• ▹Work with AI-assisted tools and learn how they can support research, documentation, fault analysis and problem solving

Requirements

• ▹Good Realschulabschluss, Fachhochschulreife or Abitur
• ▹Interest in IT, networks, hardware and technical contexts
• ▹Enjoyment in analysing technical problems and finding solutions
• ▹Logical thinking and a structured way of working
• ▹Interest in systems, devices and modern IT infrastructure
• ▹Good English and interest in using it in everyday work
