Engineering Squad Lead

Responsibilities

• ▹Share technical authority with the Staff Engineer to drive architecture decisions for the squad's domain
• ▹Stay hands-on with code review, prototyping, and critical-path contributions
• ▹Run sprint planning and unblock engineers day-to-day
• ▹Act as the primary point of contact with Product, scoping features and aligning priorities
• ▹Own production health (Grafana, Sentry), respond to alerts and resolve incidents
• ▹Triage and resolve customer-reported issues within SLA targets
• ▹Monitor and address CVEs and security vulnerabilities within the domain
• ▹Coordinate a squad of up to 10 engineers, run 1:1s, give feedback, coordinate onboarding
• ▹Define the squad's ways of working and track DORA metrics to reduce cycle time

• ▹Credible technical leadership experience working closely with engineers
