Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and grow a team of software engineers, including hiring, coaching and career development
• ▹Translate product and engineering roadmaps into operational plans and guide the team through execution
• ▹Determine staffing and resourcing needs to meet project schedules and goals
• ▹Partner with peer engineering managers, product managers, architects and DevOps/SRE leadership to align priorities
• ▹Manage the day-to-day work of the engineering team, balancing feature delivery, technical debt and platform reliability
• ▹Own delivery of the team's roadmap for distributed systems written in Go, aligned with Delinea's cloud and security architecture standards across AWS and multi-cloud
• ▹Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and career development planning for direct reports
• ▹Oversee code and design reviews to maintain a high bar for performance, security and maintainability
