DevOps Engineer role within Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions' Tolling Services team, responsible for the stable operation, monitoring, deployment, and continuous improvement of highly available applications for international electronic tolling systems in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the stable operation, monitoring, deployment, and continuous improvement of highly available applications in a 24/7 environment
  • Working in a cross-functional DevOps team, contributing to operational excellence
  • Supporting the entire application lifecycle from deployment to productive operation
  • Analyzing and resolving complex production issues
  • Automating operational tasks
  • Continuously improving system reliability, stability, and performance
  • Taking ownership of services, collaborating closely with developers and architects
  • Participating in 24/7 on-call duty

Requirements

  • Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
  • Practical knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, or comparable container platforms
  • Good German and English communication skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Collaboration with Jira and Confluence

  • Helm, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Ansible, Kustomize, Maven, Java
  • Kafka, ActiveMQ, Oracle databases
