Software Engineer - Backend & Data (Eastern Europe)

Responsibilities

• ▹Support customers and staff in understanding and using the platform, data and tools
• ▹Ensure the availability of the platform, data and tools
• ▹Define and implement improvements related to security, quality, testing, automation and documentation
• ▹Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming and task prioritization
• ▹Estimate development effort and help create project timelines
• ▹Track and report progress, proactively addressing delays or roadblocks

Requirements

• ▹3 years of experience as a software engineer working on backend and ETL for web applications
• ▹Experience collecting, cleaning and analyzing large data sets
• ▹Proficiency in Python
• ▹Proficiency in SQL
• ▹Strong oral and written communication skills
• ▹Project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
• ▹Proven problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning and identifying gaps in logic
• ▹Self-starter, able to work independently
• ▹Located in Eastern Europe

Nice to have

• ▹Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or Google Data Studio
• ▹Excellent analytical and customer-facing skills with attention to detail
• ▹Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
