Senior Software Engineer - (Home Energy)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and maintain integrations with OEM cloud platforms across batteries, solar, smart meters, and HVAC.
• ▹Design and evolve home energy APIs, unifying telemetry and controls across the HEM system, batteries, and curtailment.
• ▹Improve observability and vendor performance across integrations, and take part in the team's triage rotation.
• ▹Work with partnership and commercial teams on API feasibility for new OEM integrations.
• ▹Build strong relationships with customers, working alongside the PM and commercial partners.
• ▹Debug and ship production features in Node/TypeScript on an AWS-based stack.

Requirements

• ▹Ambitious backend engineering experience with a preference for owning things end to end.
• ▹Comfort with integration challenges, including working with third-party APIs of varying maturity.
• ▹Comfort navigating ambiguity.
• ▹Experience in Node/TypeScript and AWS-based stacks.
