Director of Engineering, Dynamic Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Define the long-term technical roadmap, architecture and standards for the Platform team
• ▹Maintain a high level of hands-on technical engagement: design reviews, coding standards, writing code
• ▹Oversee the design and implementation of highly complex distributed systems at massive transaction volume
• ▹Lead, mentor and expand a high-performing engineering organization
• ▹Work closely with customers to understand technical needs and gather feedback
• ▹Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including leveraging the latest AI models to enhance platform efficiency

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of engineering management experience, leading multiple teams and delivering complex initiatives on schedule
• ▹10+ years of hands-on backend development experience architecting and operating large-scale, highly-secure distributed systems
• ▹Exceptional security focus: experience architecting platforms requiring deep thinking about attack vectors (finance, payments, crypto, authentication)
• ▹Deep expertise in Crypto/Web3, Financial Services or High-Security/Authentication Platforms
• ▹Demonstrated experience scaling platforms to support millions of users and high throughput
• ▹Proven ability to attract, hire and develop top-tier engineering talent
• ▹Strong technical foundation and ability to influence architecture, familiar with modern development paradigms and cloud technologies
• ▹Proficiency in TypeScript and AWS infrastructure

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with TEE (Trusted Execution Environment)
