Software Engineer – Windows Internals – Fully Remote

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop Westlight Windows kernel-level software
• ▹Integrate kernel-level software with other subsystems, such as I/O
• ▹Work together with company leadership to define the Westlight Windows experience
• ▹Lead the implementation of features related to kernel-mode drivers

Requirements

• ▹Strong skills in Windows / C# desktop development
• ▹Comprehensive understanding of C and low-level memory management
• ▹Advanced use of debugging tools (WinDbg, KD, CDB, NTSD)
• ▹Prior experience with Windows security software development, e.g. anti-malware scanners
• ▹Intermediate knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSH)
• ▹Basic knowledge of public-key cryptography fundamentals
• ▹Strong interpersonal skills, thrives in a cooperative team environment
• ▹Must be a US citizen located in the US

Nice to have

• ▹Beginner knowledge of elliptic curve cryptography
• ▹Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and AWS
