Staff Software Engineer, Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and build a modern cloud-native platform on Elixir, with no legacy systems to untangle
• ▹Develop a fine-grained access control system for clinical data
• ▹Design infrastructure for 24/7 uptime (rolling deployments, failover, real-time data sync)
• ▹Architect a next-generation integration engine connecting ventilators, monitors, imaging and lab equipment in real time
• ▹Modernize hospital workflows between nurses, doctors, and administrators

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 10 years of professional software engineering experience
• ▹Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming, willingness to adopt new technologies (Phoenix, Elixir, Python, Erlang, JavaScript)
• ▹Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, innovative team
• ▹Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record on challenging engineering problems
• ▹Intellectually curious with a growth mindset
• ▹Familiarity with open-source technology
• ▹Experience building 0-1 with strong product sense
• ▹Excellent communication skills
