Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• ▹Present Vault architecture and best practices to senior client stakeholders during pre-sales and delivery
• ▹Interact with senior stakeholders across client organisations, leveraging a broad consulting skillset
• ▹Work with banks to define target architectures and transition states for Vault implementations and migrations
• ▹Design end-to-end solutions for core banking replacement initiatives centred on Vault
• ▹Create and use AI agents to accelerate architectural deliverables
• ▹Maintain an advanced understanding of the Vault platform and its future direction
• ▹Act as a self-sufficient consultant, often engaging with clients individually
• ▹Deliver training to client teams on Vault functionality and architecture
• ▹Create and maintain client-facing architectural collateral
• ▹Feed back necessary product features to the Thought Machine product function

Requirements

• ▹Experience designing enterprise architectures for large financial institutions
• ▹Domain knowledge in banking, ideally core banking or payments, with understanding of business/regulatory context
• ▹Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• ▹Strong technical background with practical knowledge of architectural patterns (event-based architecture, CQRS, process orchestration)
• ▹Expert knowledge of cloud technologies and architectures, including high availability and disaster recovery approaches
• ▹Strong client-facing skills, able to defend a technical position to a senior, mixed audience
• ▹Good understanding of the business context, regulatory environment and motivations for banking transformations

Nice to have

• ▹Experience creating AI agents to accelerate delivery
• ▹Experience with large-scale migration programmes, particularly core banking migrations
• ▹Spanish language skills
