Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead projects that improve the maintainability and scalability of cloud infrastructure
• ▹Own day-to-day infrastructure operations, solving problems directly or routing them to the right team
• ▹Coach tech team members on making the best use of cloud infrastructure capabilities
• ▹Redesign the IAM model, moving from ad-hoc permissions to a clean, least-privilege, code-managed structure
• ▹Centralize logging into a single dedicated sink project
• ▹Bring cloud costs under control: build cost visibility and guardrails, surface waste, set budgets and alerts

Requirements

• ▹5+ years in a similar role (infrastructure, platform, SRE, DevOps)
• ▹Strong experience building and maintaining highly available cloud infrastructure as code, directly supporting product delivery
• ▹Deep understanding of Linux systems, containerization, and orchestration
• ▹Solid networking fundamentals
• ▹Excellent communication between technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to have

• ▹GCP experience
• ▹Experience as the first or sole dedicated infrastructure hire
• ▹Experience in a regulated or healthcare environment
