Application Engineer, WSS, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Caucasus

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive growth of outcome- or performance-based contracts for pumping and treatment applications across the designated territory
• ▹Put together technical and commercial proposals for moderate-to-complex customer process solutions with long-term performance guarantees
• ▹Select appropriate equipment/materials and develop project costing and pricing
• ▹Generate customer proposals using standard tools and secure appropriate approvals
• ▹Accompany commercial teams on customer site visits requiring a site appraisal/feasibility study
• ▹Play an active role in the company's safety culture
• ▹Administer and review submittal documents prepared for customers
• ▹Coordinate with stakeholders to adhere to strict customer project timelines
• ▹Identify opportunities to vertically integrate Xylem products for end-to-end engineered solutions
• ▹Drive continuous improvement in designing, costing, pricing and contracting long-term outcome/performance contracts
• ▹Conduct training sessions for distributors and end users

Requirements

• ▹High-level proficiency with MS Office applications
• ▹Good ability to communicate in English
• ▹Cross-boundary collaboration with stakeholders from other business areas and disciplines
• ▹Ability to engage and communicate effectively in customer-facing settings
• ▹Working understanding of contractual terms and conditions
• ▹Thorough understanding of common components and their applications
• ▹Positive, can-do mindset
• ▹Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• ▹Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
