Data Center Technician (Open Application) – Leading Tech Company

Responsibilities

• ▹Prepare, stage, set up, start up and shut down racks, hard drives and switches per instructions and checklists
• ▹Perform post-execution quality checks (grounding, labeling, cabling) per safety protocols
• ▹Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting per standard procedures, replace faulty components
• ▹Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g. memory upgrades, OS rebuilds)

Requirements

• ▹Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers and components
• ▹1+ year of experience supporting IT equipment
• ▹Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• ▹High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• ▹Swedish passport or permanent residency required

Nice to have

• ▹CompTIA / CCNA / CDCP certification
