Senior Network Specialist

Responsibilities

• ▹Work closely with the client, playing a central role in developing their IT environment
• ▹Combine operational work with advisory, planning and structured network development
• ▹Ensure stable operations, analyze traffic and troubleshoot
• ▹Proactively drive improvements toward robust, secure networks
• ▹Take part in migrations, upgrades and modernization of network environments
• ▹Build sustainable solutions, share knowledge and maintain high quality

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience building, improving and maintaining LAN, WAN, WLAN and data center network environments
• ▹Strong ability to analyze and resolve network issues through troubleshooting and traffic monitoring
• ▹Knowledge of network security, including segmentation, tunneling and protecting critical environments
• ▹Experience with high-availability, redundant, robust operating environments
• ▹Experience leading or taking technical ownership of network infrastructure initiatives, implementations and improved working methods

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with migrations, upgrades or modernization of larger network environments
• ▹Networking certifications (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
• ▹Experience with automation, monitoring tools or scripting
• ▹Experience in complex or security-focused environments
