Strategic Medical Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and quality requirements
• ▹Drive and develop strategies for medical technology equipment and systems
• ▹Responsible for planning, implementation and lifecycle management of medical technology products
• ▹Participate in and lead procurements, developing technical requirement specifications
• ▹Lead or participate in development and implementation projects in medical technology and digitalization
• ▹Monitor market and industry trends, contributing to organizational development
• ▹Provide specialist expertise on medical technology matters across the organization
• ▹Represent the organization in external forums

Requirements

• ▹Higher education or engineering degree in medical technology, computer science, electronics or an equivalent field accepted by the employer
• ▹Professional experience in medical technology
• ▹Experience developing and maintaining quality systems in a medical technology context
• ▹Good IT knowledge and understanding, including GDPR
• ▹Good written and spoken Swedish and English

Nice to have

• ▹Education or knowledge of medical technology networks or systems
• ▹Experience from large organizations or corporate groups
• ▹Experience with change management
• ▹Experience from the public sector
• ▹Experience in the healthcare field
