System/Object Manager – Stockholm City Library

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead development and operation of the library data system (borrowers and catalog) and its roughly 20 integrations (website, finance system, electronic personnel system, loan machines, sorting equipment, ID portal, etc.)
• ▹Deliver an additional integration with a logistics system during the fall to improve media handling
• ▹Lead work on developing and operating the system and its integrations
• ▹Help organize systems and working methods according to the PM3 governance model
• ▹Produce an object plan proposal with goals, activities, priorities, risks, consequences, and cost/time estimates
• ▹Lead and execute work to realize the object plan's goals within given frames, cost-effectively
• ▹Prioritize and decide within the object plan's frame in consultation with the unit manager
• ▹Follow up on goal achievement in relation to risks, time and costs
• ▹Participate in user forums and coordinate handling of business needs
• ▹Approve deliveries from suppliers
• ▹Follow up on external and internal IT suppliers
• ▹Collaborate on producing business components and keeping existing ones current
• ▹Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, system managers and dependent functions
• ▹Communicate changes
• ▹Monitor trends and opportunities for the business and residents
