Software Engineer II - Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Responsibilities

• ▹Ship customer-facing product features for the AWS-based PaaS (Ruby on Rails backend, React-TypeScript web app, Terraform client in Go, CLI client in Ruby)
• ▹Work closely with Product and Design to clarify requirements and deliver in small, high-quality increments
• ▹Improve developer experience: internal tooling, local development workflows, the path from code to production
• ▹Contribute to reliability and operability improvements: CI/CD, release processes, observability, incident response
• ▹Participate in the on-call rotation and drive follow-ups that reduce repeat incidents
• ▹Partner with the customer-facing engineering team to investigate and fix customer issues
• ▹Use AI tools to improve development workflow and velocity

Requirements

• ▹Experience shipping production software as a fullstack engineer (mid-level to Senior II)
• ▹Excellent, clear, and proactive communication skills
• ▹Strong software engineering fundamentals and fullstack coding ability
• ▹Proficiency in at least one mainstream language, able to pick up new languages/frameworks quickly
• ▹Experience building developer-facing interfaces and workflows, not just backend services
• ▹Comfort with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• ▹Ability to think through security, privacy, and compliance implications
