Cloud Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for the applications
• ▹Implement cloud-native solutions using Python, Java and relevant scripting languages
• ▹Work closely with the development team to optimize applications for the cloud
• ▹Ensure the performance, reliability and security of cloud environments, particularly Azure and AWS
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues
• ▹Collaborate in 2-week sprints using Scrum and JIRA
• ▹Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
• ▹Write clear documentation and specifications for implemented features
• ▹Make technical decisions and motivate them with factual data

Requirements

• ▹2-4 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure and AWS
• ▹Proficiency in Python and Java
• ▹Solid understanding of cloud architecture, services and best practices
• ▹Experience with Linux/UNIX environments and scripting
• ▹Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• ▹Knowledge of Git workflows, pipelines and CI/CD practices
• ▹Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with SQL/Postgres/noSQL databases and related technologies (Hibernate/ORM/JPA)
