Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement software and corresponding services
• ▹Collaborate with a team to define, design and ship new features
• ▹Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• ▹Help maintain code quality and organization

Requirements

• ▹Solid experience in designing and implementing REST API providers and consumers
• ▹Good understanding of Clean Architecture
• ▹Demonstrable understanding of secure software principles
• ▹Test-driven development, or experience with testing methodologies
• ▹Detailed understanding of how databases in general, and MySQL in particular, work
• ▹Proficient understanding of Git and Docker containers
• ▹Familiarity with continuous integration

Nice to have

• ▹A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject (not required)
• ▹Previous work in the finance sector (not mandatory)
• ▹Understanding of multiprogramming (routines)
• ▹Interaction with payment providers (credit card and others)
• ▹Basic Linux system administration skills
• ▹Docker / Kubernetes / Gitlab
• ▹Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• ▹Event driven architecture: Kafka
