Senior Robotics Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the design, development and deployment of autonomous capabilities for heavy construction equipment
• ▹Architect high-level planners for new construction tasks
• ▹Mentor and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams through technical design reviews and implementation
• ▹Collaborate closely with hardware, software and operations teams to integrate robotic systems into the field
• ▹Improve reliability, safety and performance of deployed autonomous systems
• ▹Own technical roadmaps and help shape long-term product strategy

Requirements

• ▹BS, MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• ▹5+ years of experience developing robotics or autonomous systems
• ▹Strong proficiency in Python and C++
• ▹Experience with robotic frameworks such as ROS/ROS2
• ▹Experience with controls, motion planning, localization and/or perception systems
• ▹Strong understanding of distributed systems and real-time software architectures
