You ensure its stability, security, and performance while continuously improving automation, monitoring, and reliability. Working with cross-functional teams, you help deliver a scalable, high-performing virtual workplace and drive ongoing platform improvements using modern engineering practices. What to do: Design, operate, and continuously improve Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops platform Support core components: Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, PVS, NetScaler/ADC, Ivanti UWM Manage lifecycle activities (image updates, maintenance, upgrades) Collaborate with security on vulnerability management, patching, and remediation Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues Analyze incidents and drive reliability improvements Contribute to monitoring, observability, and reliability metrics Ensure platform availability, performance, and resilience Improve efficiency through automation and standardization Develop automation using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform Simplify operations and reduce manual effort Enhance monitoring with Grafana, Citrix Director, and ControlUp Use data and metrics to drive platform improvements Define and support reliability indicators (availability, performance, operations) Collaborate with infrastructure, workplace, and engineering teams Contribute to engineering initiatives and platform improvements Promote best practices and knowledge sharing Support a culture of ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement
