Staff Product Manager, Data Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the data platform roadmap together with engineering
• ▹Collaborate with other product teams to understand platform needs and balance short- and long-term demands
• ▹Directly drive the data platform strategy and support GRC strategies
• ▹Guide the tradeoffs between feature development and platform stability
• ▹Evangelize the data platform and encourage usage across teams
• ▹Work directly with customers to understand unique platform requirements
• ▹Look ahead 12-18 months, including AI-native uses and agent operations
• ▹Create and measure key metrics around scalability, feature enablement and queryability
• ▹Support an existing team of engineers and tech leads

Requirements

• ▹6+ years supporting platform teams, preferably data platforms or data products
• ▹Experience building and scaling data platforms and making platform roadmaps successful
• ▹Experience building 0-to-1 platforms
• ▹Independence and strong communication
• ▹Frameworks to sequence, set goals for and track complex platforms
• ▹Technical depth in data platform topics: data push/pull, databases and storage, querying, APIs
• ▹Outcome-oriented mindset
• ▹Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• ▹Openness to using AI in your work
