Senior Staff Software Engineer, Marketing Technology

Responsibilities

• ▹Defines and drives technical vision and strategy for the Content Platform org
• ▹Identifies and resolves the highest-leverage, most ambiguous technical problems spanning multiple teams
• ▹Leads architecture and design reviews, setting technical standards
• ▹Mentors and grows Staff and senior engineers
• ▹Partners with engineering leadership, product, design and marketing stakeholders on multi-year technical strategy
• ▹Represents Marketing Technology in company-wide technical forums

Requirements

• ▹15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including technical leadership at organizational scale
• ▹Bachelor's and/or Master's/PhD degree in CS or equivalent experience
• ▹Deep expertise in backend systems and large-scale, service-oriented distributed architectures
• ▹Proven experience architecting and scaling agentic or AI-driven systems in production
• ▹Experience with Java and/or Kotlin, LangGraph, GraphQL, relational and NoSQL databases, Redis-like caching, microservice architecture
• ▹Demonstrated ability to set technical vision and drive execution across multiple teams and stakeholders

Nice to have

• ▹Past experience with Marketing Technology or Growth platform systems
