Responsibilities

• ▹Defines the technical vision and roadmap for Feed Ecosystems
• ▹Coaches and develops the team
• ▹Works closely with product, design, data science, safety, community, and ads partners
• ▹Oversees ML systems improving cold-start relevance, new post/community distribution, and discovery
• ▹Helps define signals for subjective and objective quality
• ▹Collaborates with platform and infrastructure teams on scalable AI systems
• ▹Partners with recruiting to hire talented ML engineers

Requirements

• ▹2+ years leading and managing high-performing ML or recommender-systems teams
• ▹Hands-on experience with large-scale production ML systems: recommender systems, personalization, cold-start modeling, content understanding, or LLM-powered recommendations
• ▹Strong understanding of recommender systems: candidate retrieval, ranking, value modeling, ecosystem dynamics
• ▹Strategic thinking, able to communicate a clear technical strategy
