Responsibilities

• ▹Turn broad, high-level product requirements into production-ready features, owning the full lifecycle from schema design to frontend experience
• ▹Architect and develop critical modules coordinating international shipping routes, customs data and real-time package tracking, designed to be fault-tolerant and resilient
• ▹Build and maintain heavy-duty API integrations with enterprise OMS, WMS and TMS platforms, implementing retry strategies, idempotency keys and dead-letter queues
• ▹Work asynchronously across a globally distributed team (USA, Canada, EU, UK, China)
• ▹Participate in rigorous asynchronous code reviews to maintain elite DORA metrics

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of professional full-stack experience (TypeScript / Node.js / React), ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth startup
• ▹Confident use of modern AI development tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) throughout the development lifecycle
• ▹Proven track record building cloud-native, event-driven, fault-tolerant architectures (race conditions, eventual consistency, split-brain scenarios, flaky third-party APIs)
• ▹Pragmatic judgment on when to use relational (PostgreSQL) vs. NoSQL/document stores (Firestore), and real-time analytics (ClickHouse) or data warehouses (BigQuery)
• ▹Deep curiosity and attention to detail, understanding system behavior at scale
• ▹Strong written communication and proven experience in globally distributed, asynchronous teams

Nice to have

• ▹Deep experience with the GCP/Firebase ecosystem, especially Firestore and Data Connect at scale
• ▹Direct experience building systems in Logistics, Supply Chain, FinTech or E-commerce verticals
• ▹Experience integrating with enterprise e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) or global shipping/carrier APIs
