Software Engineer (Mid Shift)

Responsibilities

• ▹Serve as a technical lead for analytics-enabled applications, APIs and backend services
• ▹Contribute to solution architecture and design standards for scalable, cloud-native analytics platforms
• ▹Design, develop and maintain Python-based backend services
• ▹Lead development and integration of RESTful APIs, ensuring reliability and test coverage
• ▹Support applications built on Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage and Azure SQL
• ▹Lead and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• ▹Provide Level 3 application support, issue investigation and root-cause analysis
• ▹Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers

Requirements

• ▹8-12 years of professional experience in software engineering, backend development or analytics platforms
• ▹Strong, hands-on Python development experience for enterprise-grade applications
• ▹Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• ▹Experience with cloud-native and serverless architectures, preferably in Microsoft Azure
• ▹Solid experience with SQL and data warehouse platforms (Azure SQL, Snowflake or equivalent)
• ▹Demonstrated experience supporting production systems and user-facing applications
• ▹Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills
• ▹Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with solution architecture and design
• ▹Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Azure Insights)
