Java & Node Developer (Mid/Senior) - Remote

Responsibilities

• ▹Developing in Java
• ▹Developing and maintaining APIs and microservices using Node.js, TypeScript and Fastify
• ▹Designing and implementing microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience and low coupling
• ▹Developing and maintaining financial onboarding processes, including account opening, registration, customer validation, step orchestration and integration with internal and external systems
• ▹Implementing orchestration of complex business processes and flows
• ▹Working with different databases, choosing the right technology per domain
• ▹Developing and maintaining workers and asynchronous processes
• ▹Creating and maintaining process automation and integrations with tools like n8n
• ▹Working with Generative AI, including creating and evolving prompts, integrating with LLM APIs, and using AI to automate and support business processes
• ▹Working in containerized environments, deploying and operating on Kubernetes
• ▹Ensuring observability, structured logs and metrics
• ▹Writing automated tests and ensuring code quality
• ▹Collaborating with Front-End, Architecture and Product teams

Requirements

• ▹Experience with Java
• ▹Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• ▹Experience developing REST APIs
• ▹Background in microservices architecture
• ▹Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• ▹Knowledge of Clean Architecture or layered architecture
• ▹Experience with service integration and orchestration
• ▹Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• ▹Experience with automated testing
• ▹English for communication

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Kubernetes (deployment, configuration, observability)
• ▹Experience with multiple databases within the same ecosystem
• ▹Background in messaging and event-driven architecture
• ▹Experience with n8n or other workflow automation tools
• ▹Hands-on experience with Generative AI / Prompt Engineering
• ▹Knowledge of Python
• ▹Experience with financial processes, banking onboarding, KYC or regulated environments
