Responsibilities

• ▹Solve business problems using big data and develop effective solutions, bringing ML models into production
• ▹Analyze client requirements together with the team and design suitable solution approaches
• ▹Build models, predictions and algorithms with Python and PySpark (including data preparation and feature engineering)
• ▹Run and evaluate proofs of concept (PoCs)
• ▹Operationalize successful PoCs (Git, CI/CD, model registry) so models support day-to-day business
• ▹Qualify tenders technically during pre-sales, analyze client requirements, assess feasibility, and support proposal creation
• ▹Support acquisition of new projects, lead workshops, and proactively identify optimization and business opportunities
• ▹Communicate at both the client's business and project level
• ▹Lead sub-projects and keep effort within project guidelines
• ▹Implement solution components of data analytics architectures
• ▹Contribute to concept design, implementation, testing and consulting

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• ▹At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• ▹Extensive technology skills (Python incl. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch; PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• ▹Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• ▹Excellent communication skills in at least German and English
• ▹Team spirit, entrepreneurial thinking, independence and motivation
