Hardware Platform Architect

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect, design, develop and evaluate electronic systems, select components and guide PCB layout for retail and industrial electronic equipment
• ▹Collaborate with internal or third-party manufacturing partners to fabricate hardware systems
• ▹Verify and test designs to ensure requirements and compliance
• ▹Develop new and impactful solutions
• ▹Conduct detailed reviews and analysis of designs to ensure appropriate power, performance, area, compliance and cost
• ▹Coordinate or conduct specialized analyses (feasibility studies, signal integrity, power integrity) to verify design performance

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering experience (or Master's + 1 year, or PhD)

Nice to have

• ▹Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 0-2 years of Hardware Engineering experience
• ▹Experience with hardware system design, system integration, schematic capture and circuit simulation software
• ▹Experience with hardware system validation and standard measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs)
• ▹Willingness to travel internationally (India, Taiwan, Europe, China) as required by project schedules
