Responsibilities

• ▹Develop software for the Qualcomm AI Stack SDKs (QAIRT, Genie) to support running the latest generative AI models on Snapdragon platforms.
• ▹Design and implement core components of the Qualcomm AI Stack runtime framework for inference on resource-constrained AI systems.
• ▹Validate, analyze and optimize software performance and accuracy through detailed testing.
• ▹Debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, ensure high system reliability.
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable AI software solutions.
• ▹Participate in design and code reviews.
• ▹Work independently with minimal supervision, guide junior team members.

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• ▹5+ years (Staff) / 8+ years (Senior Staff) of general software development experience.
• ▹Proficiency in C/C++ development.
• ▹Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• ▹Strong software development skills: data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, debugging, testing.

Nice to have

• ▹Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• ▹3+ years of experience building embedded software applications.
• ▹Familiarity with generative AI model architectures such as LLMs.
• ▹Understanding of hardware acceleration and edge deployment of generative AI inference.
• ▹Experience developing on Linux, Android or Windows platforms.
• ▹Knowledge of low-level OS-hardware interactions.
• ▹Experience with CMake-based build environments.
• ▹Experience integrating Qualcomm AI Stack products (QNN, Genie).
• ▹Experience with agile development practices and git-based SCM.
