System Architect, IP Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to the detailed definition of IP blocks and complex circuits together with product managers, customers and HW/SW architects
• ▹Ensure the proposed solution is optimal for the target market (defining the boundary between what belongs to the circuit/IP and what is external)
• ▹Optimize HW/SW partitioning to balance flexibility and performance regarding circuit size, power consumption and scalability
• ▹Create and maintain system architecture documents
• ▹Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434) requirements
• ▹Support system validation teams during test phases and test specification work
• ▹Depending on profile, take on IP Technical Manager duties: selecting and deciding on make-or-buy for third-party IPs, consolidating specifications, coordinating technical follow-up of invested IPs

Requirements

• ▹Engineering degree in electronic design and embedded software
• ▹10+ years of experience in electronic circuit design
• ▹Solid knowledge of digital electronics (and to a lesser extent analog electronics)
• ▹5+ years of experience in embedded software development
• ▹Good knowledge of electronic circuit development processes
• ▹Expertise in at least one of: CPU, programmable machines, standard bus structures, Network on Chip, cache coherence and virtualization, Flash memory and external bus (USB, PCIe, Ethernet) integration, trace and debug tools, signal or image processing
• ▹Experience tracking requirements and writing detailed specifications
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with Matlab, Python, Doors, SysML tools
• ▹Knowledge of the automotive market and its specifics
• ▹Experience designing complex automotive circuits or digital IP
• ▹Knowledge of high-speed communication protocols (UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet)
• ▹Knowledge of security concepts and related algorithms
• ▹Practical use of UML and SysML
• ▹German language skills
• ▹For the IP Technical Manager path: strong knowledge of the SoC IP supplier market
