Technical Product Owner - KYC

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the product vision and roadmap for customer onboarding, identity verification, and ongoing due diligence
• ▹Lead a team of engineers and cross-functional partners to design and refine verification journeys, decisioning rules, and KYC systems
• ▹Define and track KPIs like verification completion rate, onboarding conversion, and manual review rate
• ▹Turn regulatory requirements, customer risk profiles, and operational needs into clear product specifications
• ▹Continuously improve KYC capabilities based on customer feedback and evolving regulation

Requirements

• ▹Proven product experience in fintech, payments, or KYC/customer identity verification
• ▹Strong track record delivering data-driven products with engineering and analytics teams
• ▹Strong SQL or Python skills, with hands-on experience using data to analyze performance and identify problems
• ▹Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting onboarding and operational performance metrics
• ▹Ability to balance regulatory requirements with a great customer experience
• ▹Comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-paced startup

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in Latin American markets
• ▹Spanish or Portuguese language skills
• ▹Experience scaling a KYC product from 0 to hundreds of thousands or millions of customers
• ▹Previous experience in software engineering, data analytics, or another technical role
