ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company (human-like AI voice models, ElevenAgents, ElevenCreative, ElevenAPI). As an Internal AI Engineer you act as a forward-deployed engineer across the GTM, Operations and Finance teams, co-designing and shipping agentic AI workflows that eliminate manual work. You own high-stakes automations from discovery to production and define the patterns, guardrails and tooling other teams adopt as the standard. The role is fully remote and can be done globally.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Design and iterate on AI agents and workflow orchestrations using tools like ElevenAgents, Claude and n8n
  • ▹Integrate AI systems with the core business stack - Salesforce, Slack, Ashby and more
  • ▹Build reusable automation services, patterns and shared templates that multiply the output of every team
  • ▹Own experiments end-to-end: spot the opportunity, build the solution and measure the impact
  • ▹Develop evaluation and monitoring frameworks so AI-native workflows are reliable, auditable and safe

Requirements

  • ▹Proven experience building and shipping automations or applications in production
  • ▹Strong familiarity with LLM capabilities, prompting strategies and RAG patterns, plus a passion for agentic workflows
  • ▹Deep backend expertise: strong Python and SQL and system design patterns (APIs, webhooks, orchestration layers)
  • ▹Systems-thinking mindset designing with security, auditability and blast radius in mind from the start
  • ▹Builder, AI-first instincts: you spot the pattern, propose the fix and ship it without being told
  • ▹Hands-on experience operating cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, Docker and enterprise authentication flows
