Data Analyst, Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze manufacturing and operational data to optimize workflows and improve product quality
• ▹Build advanced dashboards and analytics tools using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Python
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with production goals
• ▹Act as liaison between manufacturing operations and other business units (IT, engineering)
• ▹Support integration and optimization of manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, WMS)
• ▹Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives
• ▹Monitor equipment performance, identify downtime patterns, support predictive maintenance
• ▹Develop and track manufacturing KPIs

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Operations Management
• ▹5+ years of experience in manufacturing, business intelligence, or data analytics
• ▹Advanced skills in Tableau, Power BI, Python, SQL
• ▹Understanding of manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, WMS) and data integration
• ▹Data modeling and statistical analysis proficiency
• ▹Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• ▹Must be a U.S. Person due to export-controlled access requirements

Nice to have

• ▹Master's degree (MBA, MS in Engineering or Data Science)
• ▹Experience with predictive maintenance or process control using AI/ML or digital twins
• ▹Familiarity with predictive analytics platforms
• ▹Knowledge of industrial controls (SCADA, MES) and protocols (ISA-95, OPC UA)
• ▹Advanced BI certifications (Power BI Expert, Tableau Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt)
• ▹Track record applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
• ▹Experience in defense, aerospace, or similarly regulated manufacturing
