Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Support clients' Azure Data platform and Power BI environment, handling escalations and incident resolution.
• ▹Consult, develop, and advise on solutions using Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure ML, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse.
• ▹Consult on Power BI governance, strategy, report development, and performance.
• ▹Design and deploy data pipelines, models, and AI-driven solutions across industries.
• ▹Mentor junior team members and give feedback on their work.
• ▹Design large-scale Databricks Lakehouse architectures for healthcare environments, including Delta Lake patterns and medallion architecture.
• ▹Lead technical discovery sessions with clients and create architectural documentation mapping ~80–100 source systems.
• ▹Communicate ticket status, escalate cases, and translate technical issues into business terms for clients.

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent certification and experience.
• ▹Experience in a support role and understanding of standard support processes (e.g., ITIL).
• ▹3+ years working with data and BI solutions on the Microsoft stack (ADF, SQL DW, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI) or other vendor BI tools (Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, SAP).
• ▹Advanced SQL/Spark SQL performance expertise.
• ▹Experience handling large codebases (100k+ LOC) and high-volume ingestion workloads.
• ▹Experience with orchestration tools (ADF, Fabric, Databricks workflows, or similar).
• ▹Strong familiarity with multi-source healthcare environments: Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Health Catalyst, claims, EHR, scheduling.
• ▹Experience architecting HIPAA-compliant solutions.
• ▹Strong client-facing communication and consulting presence.

Nice to have

• ▹Architectural-level understanding of the Health Catalyst Power Platform accelerator.
• ▹Experience defining integration patterns between Databricks and Power Platform.
