Software Engineer II (Sheet Metal Simulation Platform)

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and implement new algorithms and methodologies to enhance simulation and cost estimation capabilities
• ▹Translate engineering concepts into robust, production-ready software features
• ▹Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate and validate new approaches
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new capabilities into the software platform

Requirements

• ▹Strong programming skills in Python, Qt, C++, and VBA
• ▹Experience with VS Studio, VS Code, Git, and Azure DevOps as development environments
• ▹Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
• ▹AI-native mindset, using modern AI tools and techniques in development workflows
• ▹Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• ▹Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related), Applied Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or Computer Science

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of metal forming processes
• ▹Familiarity with finite element methods (FEM) and simulation techniques
• ▹Experience with numerical methods or physics-based modeling
