Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Acceleration

Responsibilities

• ▹Support, scale, secure, and redefine Roblox's development cycle: source control, code search, artifact creation/distribution, local and remote development infrastructure
• ▹Build software that improves coworkers' lives: local dev tools, internal web apps and microservices, reusable CI workflows, productivity metrics toolchains
• ▹Collaborate on improving productivity and UX of Source, CI tools, and Build across Roblox engineering

Requirements

• ▹3-5 years of experience
• ▹BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• ▹Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
• ▹Experience with end-to-end development, launch, and support of a tool/system used by hundreds of developers at scale
• ▹Knowledge of source control, artifact management, CI tools, and infrastructure
• ▹Experience with cloud and orchestration technologies, preferably AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, HashiCorp Stack (Terraform, Vault)
• ▹Fluency in at least one common programming language (Python, Go, C#)

Nice to have

• ▹GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory experience
