Responsibilities

• ▹Lead a matrixed organization of 60+ data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, AI developers and cloud platform engineers
• ▹Oversee team staffing, recruitment and professional development, ensuring team members are trained and upskilled in emerging technologies
• ▹Identify and recommend innovative data integration approaches, platform technologies and tools
• ▹Manage and maintain the AI Innovation pipeline, driving the development of forward-thinking AI solutions
• ▹Provide strategic oversight to a team of 12 data specialists delivering solutions on the Databricks platform
• ▹Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to align data and AI initiatives with organizational goals

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience in leading large data and AI teams, preferably in a client-facing environment
• ▹Deep expertise in data integration approaches and strong knowledge of emerging data platform technologies and AI advancements
• ▹Application of data modeling or LLMs to address client-specific problems or expected outcomes
• ▹Hands-on experience with data modeling
• ▹Extensive use of LLMs and other AI technology and tooling
• ▹Experience with Databricks and proven ability to oversee platform delivery teams
• ▹Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• ▹Ability to develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition, training and upskilling
• ▹US Citizenship required
• ▹The ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
